Fine Art Prints

Brunswick Print Lab believe an image is not truly complete until it has been printed. In a world where most images are experienced on screen we rarely get to experience their full potential in the physical world. The materiality, size, dimensionality and colour of an image can only be accurately portrayed in print.

Images correctly printed on beautiful paper stock, this is what we love to do.

We use archival quality papers from Canson and a large format Canon printer with the latest LuciaPro II inks. This combination ensures your prints can last beyond 200 years if properly cared for. Our beautiful printer profiles have been produced by Dr Les Walkling and Andrey Walkling, who are world renowned for producing the best printer profiles possible.

We have a passion for printing! Whether you are new to the world of fine art printing or have years of experience printing and selling your art, we would love to work with you.

Our Papers

We have chosen to print on beautiful papers from the Canson Infinity range. Canson papers have been produced in France at some of the oldest paper mills in the world dating back to 1492 and are regarded as the finest art and photographic papers in the world. All the papers we stock are free from OBA’s (optical brightening agents) which the cheaper papers use to produce whiter whites. In other words, chemicals are used the make the paper white, not a good idea. The OBA papers are sensitive to UV light and degrade extremely quickly. In fact, the cheaper RC (Resin Coated) papers that contain OBA’s cannot even be recycled in some European countries because of their plastic content. Canson achieve their stunning white point by using natural minerals. These papers are fully recyclable.

All our Canson papers are archival museum grade and in combination with the Canon ink set we use, can to last up to 200 years without degradation to the print if stored correctly.

Papers we stock are available in sizes up to 44” (1.118 metres) wide. Some papers are also available up to 60" (1.524 metres, listed below).

Our Process

You can either come into the studio during business hours, no appointment necessary, or send us your file.  We will then take you through the different options for printing ie paper selection, print size etc.

It is at this point we will discuss if your image needs any further post production, which we can do, and will show you your image on our calibrated Eizo monitor. This will be an extremely close representation of how your final image will look printed on your chosen paper stock so there are no surprises with the final output. A lot of work has been done to ensure our screen to print matching is excellent.

That’s it, we will contact you when your print is ready for collection or ship it to you using Australia Post.
